Owens Bonding Can Assist with Bond

Bond information is the most important to communicate with a bail bond agency if you need to bail your friend or family member out of jail. There are three types of bonds you might encounter.

  • Surety Bonds: In the case of a surety bond involving bail, one party – usually a bail bond agency – assumes the responsibility of the borrower’s (or the defendant’s) debt.

  • Own Recognizance: Also known as “Personal Recognizance,” an Own Recognizance (OR) bond does not require the defendant to post any money. Instead, they’re released on a promise to appear in court for all future appearances.

  • Cash-Only Bonds: Cash-only bonds are not eligible for bail bonding. The defendant must pay the full bail amount in case before being released from jail.

Available 24 hours a day and serving 75 counties across Kansas, Owens Bonding helps anyone who is eligible for a bail bond. After finding the bond information using the Sedgwick County Inmate Search, contact us at (866) 830-BOND (2663) or find an agent near you to coordinate a bail bond and have your friend or family member released from custody while awaiting court.
